What is generally covered in a maintenance contract?
Equipment maintenance contracts generally cover labor and parts. However, equipment maintenance contracts don't cover everything. Items generally excluded from equipment maintenance contracts:

• Consumables generally are not covered under equipment maintenance contracts. Moving equipment to a new location generally is not covered under equipment maintenance contracts. Service outside of specified hours including weekends and holidays generally is not included under equipment maintenance contracts. Maintenance contracts that include software is not included in SSN Advantage Program.
